Sanskrit Pathshala Mahavidyalaya (S.P.Degree College) was established on August 9, 1905 by few renowned residents of Sadar Lucknow Cantonment to impart Indian education to illiterate residents of the area. A prominent Socialite Late.Lala Chhedi Lalji Agarwal donated his house no. 1059, Kallumal Road,Lucknow, in the year 1917 for the development of the college.
