An Annual function is held in the college every year on 9th of August, in which the annual report of the college is presented by the Manager and prizes are distributed to the meritorious students. A cultural programme is presented by the students.

Sanskrit Pathshala Mahavidyalaya (S.P.Degree College) was established on August 9, 1905 by few renowned residents of Sadar Lucknow Cantonment to impart Indian education to illiterate residents of the area. A prominent Socialite Late.Lala Chhedi Lalji Agarwal donated his house no. 1059, Kallumal Road,Lucknow, in the year 1917 for the development of the college.
